Wyvern Aviation Safety
Wyvern began performing independent, third-party aviation safety audits to The Wyvern Standard in 1994 and officially became the world’s first private aviation audit company. The Wingman Standard is the only safety standard offered by Wyvern. Only an operator who has successfully passed a Wingman audit and is in good standing with Wyvern is Wingman Certified and may call themselves a Wingman Certified Operator. WYVERN’s Wingman Certification is a globally recognized safety standard for air charter operators. An ARGUS rating, such as Platinum or Gold, reflects an operator’s adherence to strict operational and safety standards. It includes audits of their pilot training, aircraft maintenance, operational history, and more. Virtual Hangar® lists only operators with top-tier ARGUS certifications.
